The Vinyl Plastisol coating is an extremely durable coating with a soft feel. In addition to that, it is resistant to vandalism. 4x thicker than a thermoplastic coating. This table comes with an 8′ top only.
End access requires a 24-inch overhang at one end of the tabletop. As a result, It is a table that can easily be up-ended if someone sits or leans on that end.
Kay Park has addressed this concern by welding anti-tip supports (patented) to the side of the table legs. We have reserved this for our heaviest “J2” frame. This method places the outer bearing point closer to the end of the table. The result is a picnic table with end access that is less hazardous to the general public than other designs.
Heavy PVC coating on No. 9 by 3/4 inch expanded metal with 2-inch steel border. Rectangle table tops are 2 x 30 inches wide. Seats are 2 x 10 inches wide.
